If you had one
tip for a new coach what would it be?
Pat Simon's (CT) response was to always check the
height of the vault since it could have been changed since you
got back to it.
Melissa’s (RI) response was check to make
sure you have your music before you leave for a meet... (One of
my NH coach friends borrowed some of mine once because she
forgot her teams)
Margie’s (WI) response was (ditto what
Pat/Melissa said) and to keep on top of the paperwork, it can
swamp you if you let it go.
Rae (NH) My tip would be promoting your
team within the school by having your scores announced during
daily announcements. Have your team invite their teachers,
principals and school board members so they share your
successes.
